Kayak Fishing Rodeo 5th Anniversary on June 21 & 22, 2008

This is the fifth year for the Kayak Fishing Rodeo. Over the last four years, we’ve seen some extraordinary fish caught at the Rodeo, met new fishing partners and made lasting friendships. This is not only a fun and exciting kayak fishing tournament, it’s a family friendly weekend event on the CT shoreline at the peak of the summer season.

This year's rodeo is hosted by YakDawgs and Ultimate Kayak Fishing at King Cove Marina and Outfitters in Stonington Connecticut. King Cove is the Rodeo's main sponsor and our host. They are a fully stocked outfitter, catering to the kayak angler, located on Route 1 in Stonington CT. This year 100% of the proceeds from the Kayak Fishing Rodeo will go to Casting for Recovery, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing breast cancer survivors with no-cost retreats to promote spiritual, mental and physical healing through fly fishing, "A Sport for Life".
